Comparison of 3d print filament materials
PLA
biodegradable, lower temperature, less toxic. specific brands vary considerably (~10%?)
ABS
more toxic, stronger? needs heated bed
Resin: white
brittle, not as strong, needs UV curing (in water) after print
wanhao d7
Technology: DLP (Digital Light Processing)
Build Volume: 120 x 68 x 180mm
Layer Resolution: 35 microns
Printable materials: 405 NM UV resin
Raspberry pi runs NanoDLP, which is the software which sends the 'plates' to the printer. Connect to NanoDLP from the hackspace computer, or on a computer on the same network

Phrozen Sonic Mini 4k
Technology: DLP (Digital Light Processing)
Build Volume: 134 x 75 x 130 mm
Layer Resolution: 35 microns
Printable materials: 405 NM UV resin
Files are prepared on Chitubox on the 3D room PC and transferred by USB stick.
