Ok you have a great idea and someone has told you you have to fill in a form - great.
We all love a form to fill in (or not) and wiki is not the best place, however needs must

  • First step

Gather your information:

Title for proposal - short and snappy

your name - easy

date - easy

date for decision to be made - minimum of 1 week, longer if complicated or controversal

Costings - work out a budget and where you expect the money to come from.

Who is going to do it - make the purchase, install equipment, make it work, write intructions etc

Have you already got some support?

  • Create your entry in Wiki

Log in to wiki

go to Proposals and decision making - open

Select next available Proposal number and you should open up a new page ready to fill in

Fill in form and save

Make a note of the page and post your proposal in slack with reference to wiki page

As the process progresses keep the wiki entry updated.

It is possible to use the discussion page to record pertinant information that could be useful in the future

Provide feedback to the Admin Team how this process is working with improvements and suggestions

Happy Proposing. If you need help with the Wiki side post a request on the slack #wiki
