Date for Decision
25/6/25

Acquisition of a brand new Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro bambulab.com
Why/how this will be good to have
We now have 2 Bambu Lab P1S printers. Only one of them has an AMS device attached. If we had an AMS on both printers it would be much easier for members to print with different materials/filaments, and the active filament on the second printer would stay drier, which improves the quality and consistency of prints. It makes it much easier to switch between filaments, which is useful if you need to print something on a niche filament type that isn't currently loaded.
Who is supporting the project

Comments
Does this need a AMS 2 Pro Upgrade Kit 1 with Filament Buffer?
Outcome
As there is no desent and strong suport, only comment was a seperate dryer but the use of the multifilament changer outwieghed the dryer only option
